My trip into making Spirit Boards started by a request from a friend. After creating a custom board for her, I decided that I really enjoyed the work on them. Soon after, I created another Board and tiny planchette and decided I would open an area for people who wanted to order their own custom spirit board.

I will do some sets that I feel inspiried to do (like the Fae board image above) but am also opening up to people who wish to make an order for a custom design based around images and animals and designs that hold special meanings to them.

Each board is made out of a heavy piece of wood, decorated and painted with original artwork, then varnished with heavy coats to make the surface as smooth as possible. With the board is a small handcrafted planchette decorated to match, and again varnished in a heavy clear coat of durable varnish.
